Regina Arts Centre
This building was first erected to the memory of Sr Mary Regina Conway RSM and named Regina Hall at St Saviour's School Toowoomba. In 2011, this building was then gifted by the Sisters of Mercy to St Joseph's Primary School Kangaroo Point and named the Regina Arts Centre in memory of a talented musician and teacher.
Sr Mary Regina Conway over the years touched the lives of various students with her vibrant personality and musical ability, inspiring them with a love of what is best and finest in music.
The building was Blessed and Officially Opened by Most Rev Joseph Oudeman OFMCap D.D. Auxiliary Bishop for Brisbane and Fr Tom Keegan on the 23rd March 2012.
During her short life Sr Mary Regina Conway accomplished much and influenced many. With her passing, the Sisters of Mercy lost a great musician and a talented teacher. Her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those she taught and loved and now in the students of St Joseph's Primary School, Kangaroo Point.

At St Joseph's, we value The Arts. Quality Arts education enables students to explore their learning in creative, dynamic, and interconnected ways. Students are involved in a variety of empowering and enriching Arts experiences.
It has been shown that participation in The Arts can boost student confidence and motivation which may positively influence other aspects of their schooling life, such as attendance, academic results and emotional well-being. Our high-quality learning opportunities support and enhance creativity and participation in all aspects of the The Arts.
At St Joseph's we believe an education that is rich in Arts experiences from Prep to Year 6 develops individual creativity and self-expression. We are committed to providing a positive and enriching learning experience that inspires our students to pursue their passion for Arts and develop a lifelong love of creative learning.
All students at St Joseph's participate in weekly specialist lessons covering all five subjects in the Australian Arts Curriculum - Dance, Drama, Media Arts, Music and Visual Arts.
Private Speech and Drama Lessons
Group Speech and Drama lessons are available for the students of St Joseph's. The Speech and Drama program helps grow the self-confidence of the students, improves communication skills, allows for creative and analytical thought, encourages physical expression and provides the opportunity for students to work productively with their peers. The students can perform at the Enoggera Eisteddfod and the Brisbane Drama Festival as well at school arranged concerts and events.
Private Instrumental Specialists - Learn an Instrument
In addition to weekly specialist music, we are proud to offer an exceptional instrumental and choral music education experience for our students. With over 200 enrolments, our program provides individual and small group lessons that cater to each student's unique needs and interests. Instruments include guitar, piano, choir, singing lessons, drums, percussion, brass instruments, flute, saxophone, violin, and cello.
Our experienced and dedicated music teachers are passionate about nurturing the musical talents of our students and providing them with the skills they need to excel in music. Our program also offers a range of ensembles for students to participate in, including orchestras, bands, and choirs. These ensembles provide students with the opportunity to work collaboratively with their peers and showcase their musical talents through several performance opportunities each year.
