Our family was initially drawn to St Joseph’s Kangaroo Point on the back of its excellent reputation as a school which, at its core, values and respects the dignity and uniqueness of each and every student. And from this fundamental ethos, students thrive; learning to ask questions, to be creative, to know accountability and to learn genuine respect and care for themselves and for each other. Three years into our schooling journey here, we have come to experience firsthand the congruency between these espoused and lived Christian values at the school. Nurturing Leaders for the Future

We recently attended the St Joseph’s Primary School for its annual open day event. We were impressed by the lovely school grounds, but also by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who really engaged with our soon to be Prep student. We were, however, most impressed by our tour leaders - Year 6 students - who were outstanding ambassadors for the school. Thank you for showcasing your school and all it has to offer!

Every member of staff takes great care to support the emotional, social and academic growth of their students, employing a wide range of pedagogical and social practices to encourage each child to find their passion, to reach their full potential and to suitably prepare them for the transition to high school. The school also enables this by providing a comprehensive range of programs across academic, STEM, sporting, creative and cultural streams; punching well above its weight in terms of offered opportunities, particularly given the size of the school. We love this community and are delighted that we chose St Joey’s for our daughters’ formative educational years.
