At St Joseph’s, religious teaching includes both dimensions of Religious Education. These include the classroom teaching of religion and the religious life of the school. The classroom teaching of Religion uses the Brisbane's Religious Education Curriculum P-12. The curriculum offers opportunities for all students, inclusive of their own faith, to explore and learn about four interrelated strands.
These strands are:
- Sacred Texts
- Beliefs
- Christian Life
- Church
Taught from an educative framework, our students develop their critical and creative thinking in exploring an inquiry approach to content taught.
At St Joseph's Primary School, our focus includes the promotion and celebration of both intercultural and intergenerational dialogue.
